Why Is there a special collection?
Sometimes Grandma Nancy gets carried away in the doll creation process because first of all, she is an artist, not a business person. That means, she takes more time, uses more costly materials, and sometimes, it just means she feels she has "hit it out of the ballpark" when it is completed. So, she wants some way to indicate that a doll or pet is something really special. You know it when you see it.
What is the mark of the Limited Edition Signature Collection?
Well, the mark is the artist's signature, of course. So, Nancy signs her work by embroidering NK along with something extra, each signature unique, each an authentication of your ownership of a work of art as well as a doll. As you can see in the photo of this doll's signature, Nancy has added some wildflowers along with her initials. Only the Limited Edition designated dolls are signed.
